Founded in 2017 in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, PardPro Technologies Ltd. (formerly Pard Business Management & Consulting Ltd.) is dedicated to building thoughtful, privacy-first software solutions that solve real-world problems.
The story of NINE began when our own feline companions required continuous health monitoring for chronic conditions. We quickly realized that pet parents lacked a professional, privacy-respecting tool to track subtle health changes like weight fluctuations, Body Condition Score (BCS), and clinical symptoms. Relying on messy text messages or memory alone often leaves veterinarians without the exact timelines they need to make accurate diagnoses.
We built NINE to bridge this gap. By combining a minimalist design with veterinary-standard metrics (such as the WSAVA 1-9 BCS scale), we empower cat owners to proactively manage their pets' well-being.
As a privacy-first company, we believe that your health data—and your pet's health data—belongs entirely to you. We engineered NINE with a local-first architecture, ensuring that your data stays on your device by default. We do not sell data to third-party brokers, we do not run advertisements, and we employ end-to-end encryption for our cloud-syncing Pro users.
Our small, dedicated team in Canada continues to iterate on NINE, driven by feedback from a global community of responsible cat parents.
